About the Journal
IMPRESSARIO is a biannual platform that addresses the evolving dynamics in cultural administration and theatre management. It seeks to foster intellectual discourse that bridges the gap between academic scholarship and practical applications within the sector. As an initiative of the Association of Theatre Management and Arts Administration Practitioners in Nigeria, ATMAAPIN, the journal emphasises the unique cultural and administrative contexts within Nigeria and the broader African setting while remaining globally inclusive.
Scope and Objectives
The journal’s primary objective is to publish high-quality research that enhances understanding of cultural administration and theatre management. It aims to:
1. Explore contemporary challenges and developments within theatre, cultural, and tourism administration.
2. Promote interdisciplinary and comparative approaches in theatre and cultural studies.
3. Provide a platform for sharing best practices, innovations, and policy analysis within the cultural and theatre management sectors.

Submission Notes
Submissions to IMPRESSARIO must be original, with articles capped at 7,000 words. Authors may select either MLA or APA referencing styles, ensuring uniformity throughout. Abstracts should be limited to 250 words, and submissions should be formatted in 12-point Times New Roman font. Fees include N10,000 (or USD 20) submission charge and an acceptance fee of N40,000 (or USD 100) for Nigerian and international authors, respectively. The journal publishes on 1st June and 1st of December annually, with further details and submission options available on its submission page.
